Spec Ops’ latest delivery to troops in Afghanistan included two new RTOC products, the RTOC255LED-AL Double Stack and RTOC65LEDSP-AL Auto Lift display systems. Both systems are stored within and deployed upon our rugged, weatherproof, aluminum cases.
The RTOC255LED-AL consists of two 55 inch LED monitors, vertically stacked. This impressive display system is raised to a preset height with the one-touch button Auto Lift feature. System such as this provide excellent platforms for Command and Control applications.
The RTOC65LEDSP-AL is another Auto Lift display system which features the table-based Smart Podium ID422w, wide-screen, interactive pen display. The 22″, 16:9 aspect ratio screen provides a bright, crisp image and offers a large workable area to engage applications for all participants. Unlike standard Smart Board platforms, where commanders often stare back into bright projectors, the table-based interactive display allows them to mark-up C2 applications from the interactive pen display located next to their PC.
Bob Corey, Chief Operations Officer at Spec Ops, highlights the need for continuous innovation. “The COTS market is constantly introducing new technology. Our Command and Control platforms are designed to easily integrate the latest in interactive electronics. Our double-stack RTOC systems are just one of the many display layouts available. And with Smart Technologies we’re always anticipating their latest release of interactive display systems.”
